This course examines the moral issues and dilemmas facing practitioners in criminal justice. Practical problems are addressed from the philosophical viewpoints of the study of ethics. Among the topics considered are discretion, police use of deadly force, deception, police corruption and capital punishment. (Previously NJCU Course CJ-444)
