Catalog description

Course explores and analyzes the phenomena of hate crimes with a focus on racial, ethnic, cultural, sexual orientation, and religious stife. Tensions between freedom and equality are examined. The historical, economics, and political roots of such crimes are reviewed as well as the governmental response including federal and state laws. (Previously NJCU Course CJ-310)
