ADVANCED COUNSELING PRACTICE

Catalog description

This course is an intensive study of integrative and postmodern counseling theories and evidence-based practices in counseling, such as motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and social construtivism. Research on the efficacy of postmodern therapy, common factors, client-counselor relationships, and continuous client feedback is reviewed.
