ADVANCED COUNSELING SKILLS AND PRACTICE

Catalog description

This course focuses on the development of advanced counseling skills and current postmodern practices, such as dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused and narrative therapy. Client-counseling relationship issues, treatment strategies, client goals and continuous feedback are addressed. Course must be taken prior to enrollment in CED 5985 .
