Catalog description

This course introduces students to the clinical assessment, intervention considerations and service delivery requirements with individuals in the D/deaf populations across the lifespan. Causes of hearing loss, ability and disability issues and cultural awareness are explored. Students are required to develop resources to support future clinical work with these populations, and as such application to practice is a key focus of the course.
