Histology is the science of microscopic anatomy. It employs light microscopy, transmission- & scanning-electron microscopy, histochemistry, immunohistochemistry and cytochemistry. Students correlate histology with gross anatomy, physiology and pathology. (Previously NJCU Course BIOL-305)
