Catalog description

This course examines financial accounting and reporting for business combinations, consolidated financial statements, international accounting, partnerships, fund accounting, accounting for governmental units, and foreign currency accounting. Direct links to the standards issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Accounting Standards Codification (ASC), and comparisons between GAAP and the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are integrated throughout the course.
