This course explores the dynamic field of sustainability accounting designed for forward-thinking professionals in various organizational settings (e.g. companies, non-profit organizations, and government organizations). By looking into the history and significance of sustainability accounting, students gain understanding of its pivotal role in corporate decision-making and stakeholder engagement, and master sustainability reporting, ethical considerations, and the impact of emerging technologies like AI and blockchain.
