Catalog description

Examines statistical description of sample data including frequency distributions, measures of central tendency, and measures of dispersion. Includes theoretical distributions, statistical estimation, and hypothesis testing. Introduces simple linear regression and correlation. Note: Students may not receive credit for both this course and any of the following: STA 210 , STA 251 , STA 291. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
