Catalog description

Introduces the history of the safety movement under the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Provides entry level workers with information about their rights and employer responsibilities. Emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. Note: OSHA certificate may be available upon successful completion of all required course topics. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours).
