Neurological Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy ((5 credit hours))

Catalog description

Focuses on rehabilitation procedures for patients of all age groups with disabilities resulting from brain injury, spinal cord injury, genetic/congenital disorders, and other neurological disorders. Includes growth and development, use of assistive technology and mobility aids, and techniques of neuromuscular re-education. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours). Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
