Utilizes external institutions for clinical experience for students gain proficiency and knowledge in the performance of routine venipuncture and dermal collections. Provides the experience needed to handle routine venipuncture complications and the skills necessary to adequately perform the duties of a phlebotomist. Practicum: 2 credits (120 contact hours).
