Catalog description

Examines occupational therapy in the pediatric population. Investigates how physical, emotional, and cognitive processes begin, change, and develop from birth through adolescence. Addresses concepts of occupational performance skills in pediatrics. Encourages students to view children/persons holistically while learning typical developmental milestones and various diagnoses and disabilities. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours). Laboratory: 1 credits (45 contact hours).
