Includes application of the core components of nursing to the care of childbearing and child-rearing families experiencing functional and dysfunctional alterations in health. Applies the four competencies of nursing practice including human flourishing, nursing judgment, professional identity, and spirit of inquiry. Lecture: 5 credits (75 contact hours). Clinical: 4 credits (180 contact hours).
