Practicum I ((4-5 credit hours))

Catalog description

Develop performance skills and professional attitude in the student in assigned areas of the clinical laboratory. Utilize and depend upon external institutions to ensure adequate clinical education and training. Provide assigned clinical site placement for each individual student by the MLT Program Director. Note: The course learning outcomes for both MLT 278 and MLT 279 , rely on the order of departmental rotations in the clinical laboratory. All course learning outcomes are covered by completion of both practicums. Practicum: 4-5 credits (240-300 contact hours).
