Catalog description
Provides instruction on the use of the four main programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming languages specified in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61131-3 international standard: Ladder Diagram, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text, and Sequential Function Chart. Teaches a variety of PLC networking protocols such as Ethernet/IP. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours). Laboratory: 1 credit (30 contact hours).
