Multi-Platform Programmable Logic Controllers ((4 credit hours))

Catalog description

Introduces multiple platforms of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Provides preparation to wire, communicate with, program, and troubleshoot multiple brands of PLCs. Introduces basic programming of inputs, outputs, internal relay, timers, counters, comparator, math, and data manipulation instructions. Provides hands-on lab application of multiple platforms of PLCs found in industry. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours). Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
