Provides instruction on shop theory, processes, and basic concepts of machine tool applications utilized in the tool and die field. Includes instruction on the areas and machine concepts for safety, measurement, layout work, bench work, saws, drills, drilling machines, mills, and lathes. Lecture: 2.0 credits (30 contact hours).
