Catalog description

Provides a practical look at current practice in the use of materials for civil engineering applications. Teaches test procedures, design considerations, and overall evaluation methods for these materials. Includes the study of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt cement. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours). Laboratory: 1 credit (45 contact hours).
