Provides instruction on basic roof design and combination roof designs used in the construction industry including the layout and installation practices that are used to fabricate and install ceiling and roof framing systems. Provides instruction on job-site safety practices, scaffold and ladder safety, building code requirements, and material estimation related to roof construction. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
