Introduces different construction systems, methods, and employment opportunities for carpentry-related careers. Provides practice on basic management of a construction project. Implements shop and job-site safety standards. Provides the opportunity to become familiar with common building materials and the correct use of hand and power tools. Laboratory: 1 credit (30 contact hours).
