Writing Funding Proposals ((3 credit hours))

Catalog description

Equips students with the skills necessary to write convincing funding proposals. Develops persuasive arguments by organizing ideas effectively to present cases clearly and professionally. Emphasizes adherence to standard writing conventions and formatting guidelines, preparing students to produce high-quality proposals that resonate with funders. Tailors proposals to funder expectations using RFP analysis, logic models, and persuasive evidence to build a compelling case for support. Prerequisite(s): BAS 140 and 142 or consent of instructor. Lecture: 3 credits (45 contact hours).
