Examines the ethical, legal, and relational foundations of effective grant practice, emphasizing mission-aligned partnerships, responsible decision-making, and long-term stewardship across the grant lifecycle. Explores strategies for building and sustaining funder and partner relationships while identifying and addressing conflicts of interest, ethical risks, and compliance expectations in proposals and budgets. Emphasizes the importance of professional development and engagement in professional organizations to uphold standards, advance grant-related skills, and strengthen organizational and community impact.
