Catalog description

Covers the installation of industrial electrical and pneumatic systems, including electrical safety, power distribution, wire selection, raceway installation, overcurrent protection, and wiring techniques. Focuses on pneumatic system installation, including interpreting drawings, fabricating pipes and fittings, and installing supply lines and piping. Introduces the proper use of hand tools, motor and machine mounting, print reading, and lifting and rigging techniques. Lecture: 1 credit (15 contact hours). Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
