Catalog description

The Vascular Surgery 4th year sub-internship provides students an opportunity to broaden their professional education by providing direct patient care, with internship-like responsibilities. This rotation is designed to provide students with clinical exposure, observation, and training to further their understanding within the fields of vascular surgery. Significant operative exposure will supplement the outpatient experience. Students will be exposed to carotid surgery, management of aneurysms, as well as lower extremity revascularization procedures.
