Immersion Experience in Rural/Underserved Medicine

Catalog description

An immersion in a rural (or underserved) medical setting affording KansasCOM students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience with the challenges and opportunities of practicing medicine in a rural (or underserved) community. The experience will include engagement activities with local community leaders, touring healthcare facilities, shadowing local physicians, and participating in a service project.
