Catalog description
The Nuclear Medicine Sub-I provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of nuclear medicine. This rotation focuses on the use of radioactive materials for diagnosis, treatment, and research in various medical conditions. Students will learn about imaging techniques such as PET and SPECT, radiopharmaceuticals, and their applications in patient care. Through direct observation and participation in procedures, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to apply nuclear medicine principles in clinical practice.
