Catalog description
The Public Health Sub-I provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of public health principles, practices, and policies that affect community health. This rotation emphasizes the role of public health in disease prevention, health promotion, and addressing health disparities across populations. Students will engage in community assessments, participate in health initiatives, and observe the implementation of public health programs. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to contribute effectively to public health efforts.
