Catalog description

The Occupational Medicine Sub-I provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of the health issues related to the workplace and the principles of preventing and managing occupational injuries and illnesses. This rotation focuses on the evaluation of work-related conditions, the role of occupational health in promoting worker safety, and the impact of environmental factors on health. Students will engage in clinical practice, participate in workplace assessments, and learn about health promotion and disease prevention strategies. Through direct patient care, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide effective occupational health services.
