Catalog description

The Pediatric Pulmonology Sub-I provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and management of respiratory disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. This rotation emphasizes the unique presentations of pulmonary conditions in the pediatric population, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, and sleep-related breathing disorders. Students will engage in direct patient care, participate in clinical evaluations, and observe diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a pediatric pulmonology setting. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide effective pulmonary care to pediatric patients.
