Catalog description
The Pediatric Ophthalmology Sub-I provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and management of eye disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. This rotation emphasizes the unique presentations of ophthalmic conditions in the pediatric population, including congenital anomalies, refractive errors, and strabismus. Students will engage in direct patient care, participate in clinical evaluations, and observe diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a pediatric ophthalmology setting. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide effective ophthalmic care to pediatric patients.
