Catalog description

The Pediatric Nephrology Sub-I offers medical students a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and management of kidney and urinary tract disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. This rotation emphasizes the unique presentations of nephrological conditions in the pediatric population, including acute and chronic kidney diseases, electrolyte imbalances, and hypertension. Students will engage in direct patient care, participate in clinical evaluations, and observe diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a pediatric nephrology setting. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide effective nephrological care to pediatric patients.
