Catalog description

The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Sub-I provides medical students with a thorough understanding of the diagnosis, management, and prevention of infectious diseases in infants, children, and adolescents. This rotation emphasizes the unique clinical presentations of infections in the pediatric population, including both common and complex cases. Students will engage in direct patient care, participate in clinical evaluations, and observe diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a pediatric infectious diseases setting. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide effective care to pediatric patients with infectious conditions.
