Catalog description

The Pediatric Gastroenterology Sub-I offers medical students a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. This rotation emphasizes the unique presentations of gastrointestinal conditions in the pediatric population, including functional disorders, inflammatory diseases, and nutritional issues. Students will engage in direct patient care, participate in clinical evaluations, and observe diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a pediatric gastroenterology setting. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide effective gastroenterological care to pediatric patients.
