Catalog description

The Pediatric Cardiology Sub-I provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis and management of congenital and acquired heart diseases in children. This rotation emphasizes the unique cardiovascular physiology of pediatric patients and the various imaging and therapeutic modalities used in pediatric cardiology. Students will engage in clinical practice, participate in patient evaluations, and observe diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Through direct patient interactions, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide high-quality care for pediatric patients with cardiac conditions.
