Catalog description

The General Pediatrics Outpatient Sub-I provides medical students with comprehensive exposure to the outpatient management of pediatric patients. This rotation focuses on the health care needs of infants, children, and adolescents, emphasizing preventive care, developmental assessments, and the diagnosis and management of common pediatric conditions. Students will participate in routine well-child visits, acute care consultations, and chronic disease management in a community setting. Through direct patient interactions, interdisciplinary collaboration, and family-centered care approaches, students will develop the skills necessary to provide high-quality outpatient pediatric care.
