Catalog description

The Pediatrics 4th year sub-internship provides students with an opportunity to broaden their professional education by providing direct patient care, with internship-like responsibilities. Students will care for children in an inpatient and/or outpatient setting and will be expected to take histories, perform physicals, and interact with patients and their families. Students will be involved in providing acute, chronic, and preventive care.
