Catalog description

The Toxicology elective provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of clinical toxicology. This rotation emphasizes the identification, management, and prevention of toxic exposures and poisonings. Students will engage in direct patient care, participate in toxicology consultations, and observe various diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to manage patients with toxicological conditions effectively.
