Catalog description

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Sub-I provides medical students with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of high-risk pregnancy and the specialized care required for expectant mothers and their fetuses. This rotation focuses on prenatal diagnosis, management of maternal and fetal complications, and advanced imaging techniques. Students will engage in clinical practice, participate in outpatient consultations, and observe inpatient care in a multidisciplinary setting. Through direct patient interactions, case discussions, and hands-on experience, students will develop the skills necessary to provide high-quality care in maternal-fetal medicine.
