Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to help students assimilate foundational knowledge of the special senses, especially the visual and auditory senses. As these senses are so disproportionately important to our daily lives, understanding how to recognize, treat, and possibly prevent diseases of these senses has incredible implications for our quality of life. The connections to the neurological and autonomic systems will be highlighted.
