Catalog description

The Infectious Disease 4th sub-internship provides students an opportunity to broaden their professional education by providing direct patient care with internship-like responsibilities. Students will gain exposure to human-host pathogen interactions and microbial pathogenesis. Students will have opportunities to recognize the immune response to infectious diseases with conventional and alternative antimicrobial treatment. The student will also gain exposure to inpatient consultation.
