Catalog description

The Sleep Medicine elective offers medical students a comprehensive understanding of the diagnosis, treatment, and management of sleep disorders. This rotation emphasizes the clinical evaluation of sleep-related issues, the role of sleep in overall health, and the latest advancements in sleep medicine. Students will engage in direct patient care, participate in sleep studies, and observe therapeutic interventions. Through hands-on experiences, case discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will develop the skills necessary to provide effective care for patients with sleep disorders.
