Catalog description

The Cardiology 4th Year Rotation Elective provides a more thorough and in-depth exposure to the field. The rotation is designed to provide students with clinical exposure, observation, and training in the field of cardiology. Students will gain exposure to outpatient cardiology, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, electrophysiology, and inpatient cardiac care. The knowledge gained in this rotation will complement that gained in the internal medicine clerkship.
