Infectious Disease

Catalog description

The Infectious Disease Clerkship is an internal medicine subspecialty experience under the umbrella of an internal medicine subspecialty rotation. Students will gain exposure to human-host pathogen interactions and microbial pathogenesis. Students will have opportunities to recognize the immune response to infectious diseases with conventional and alternative antimicrobial treatment. The student will also gain exposure to inpatient consultation.
