Critical Care

Catalog description

The Critical Care Clerkship is an internal medicine subspecialty experience under the umbrella of an internal medicine subspecialty rotation. Students will gain exposure to the appropriate management of patients in the ICU setting. Students will learn to determine appropriate tests and procedures pertinent to the ICU setting and identify the most common diagnoses that require ICU care.
