Catalog description

Clinical Distinction empowers students to step into the role of educational leader. Students will select an area of study that best supports their medical aspirations. Possible topics include military officer/medical training, leadership, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, or a clinical experience not included in the current catalog. Learning outcomes, educational activities, assessments, and timelines will be developed in collaboration with a faculty mentor and must be approved by the Assistant/Associate Dean of Clinical Education. This course may be repeated for up to 12 credits. Prerequisite: OMS III or IV student in good standing, and approval of Faculty Mentor and Assistant/Associate Dean of Clinical Education.
