Catalog description

The Pain Management 4th year sub-internship provides students an opportunity to broaden their professional education by providing direct patient care, with internship-like responsibilities. This rotation is designed to provide students with clinical exposure, observation, and training to further their understanding within the field of pain management. Students will witness medical management of pain, including the judicious use of opioids, and the use of various pain blocks.
