Introduction to Bioethics

Catalog description
Students will be introduced to various bioethical topics and how to apply various ethical principles to medical practice, healthcare policy, and biomedical research. Students will learn to recognize ethical issues, engage in moral reasoning, and make decisions which respect the rights of patients while fulfilling the obligations of physicians. Course objectives are accomplished through student assignments, lectures, and quizzes.
