Catalog description
This course provides students with an understanding of adjunctive dental treatments that extend beyond traditional restorative and preventive procedures commonly performed in general practice. Students will explore a broad range of treatments such as TMD treatment modalities, orofacial pain, dental sleep medicine, Invisalign, facial esthetics, and dental implants. This course will also provide students with a comprehensive review of clinical protocols for treating the medically complex dental patient. The final component of this course is for the student to develop a five-year professional plan after graduation from dental school.
