Community-Based Patient Care

Catalog description

During the Community-Based Patient Care course, fourth-year dental students will advance their clinical skills through experiential learning in the community setting. Under the supervision of a KCU Preceptor, students will deliver comprehensive oral health care to patients across all stages of life. This course allows students to integrate the knowledge and clinical skills gained throughout their didactic and clinical training. It reinforces their ability to serve and address the oral health needs of underserved and vulnerable populations.
